# Traveler (Anemo)

## Roles

* **Support:** Crowd Control (Grouping), Debuffer (VV, C6)
* **On-Field DPS**

## Character Breakdown

* **Elemental Skill (Tap)** deals **Anemo DMG** and can knock back enemies.
* **Elemental Skill (Hold)** can gather smaller enemies in front of Traveler (Anemo) and continuously deals **Anemo DMG** to them.
* **Elemental Burst** summons a tornado that moves forward and continuously pulls enemies toward its center, dealing **Anemo DMG**.
* Can act as a Debuffer with **Viridescent Venerer** 4-set.
* **Anemo** characters need to be within 20 levels of enemies to be able to Crowd Control them most effectively.

## Additional Notes

* **C6** reduces the **Anemo** **RES** of enemies hit by **Elemental Burst** by 20%. If elemental absorption occurs, Enemy **Elemental RES** to the corresponding element is reduced by 20%.
* Can be used as a **On-Field DPS** at the early stages of the game but is best retired as soon as possible for any better alternatives.

* Traveler (Anemo) pairs well with almost all characters in the game as **Viridescent Venerer** 4-set can debuff **Elemental RES** on enemies for 4 of the elements (**Cryo, Electro, Hydro, and Pyro**).

## Does Not Work Well With

* **Anemo** cannot cause **Elemental Reactions** with **Geo** and **Viridescent Venerer** cannot provide debuffing for **Geo** and **Physical DMG** characters.
